What are some of the things we would do differently in business, if we keep the 100% stewardship perspective before us?

Re: Unique
The article caught my attention and I will take a few minutes and try to formulate and briefly share some of my thoughts on the topic. Some thoughts and Bible verses which come to mind are:

1. Every person is indeed created by God with a unique blend of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual gifts and abilities. Romans 12

2. Every person is individually responsible before God as to their use of their unique equipping. Romans 12

3. Those of us in positions of responsibility for the direction of others are responsible to treat those who report to us fairly. Colossians 4:1

4. Those of us who report to others as our supervisors are to serve respectfully and to the very best of our abilities. Colossians 3:22-25

In light of these verses, I see part of my job as a business owner as “Putting round pegs in round holes”. If the individual’s equipping is aligned with the job requirements, job performance and personal enjoyment are both generally enhanced. If the individual’s equipping and job requirements are not aligned, it is doubtful that the results will ever be satisfactory from the job or individual perspective. If the individual is not doing a job for which they are or can be effectively equipped, it seems to me that the individual should seriously seek the Lord about other employment.

Sincerely,
Ralph Jackson, PE
